Rosemary Jones contacted King Bee with a special project to develop her story outlines into an exciting educational Animated series for young children that would communicate the key benefits to recycling and looking after the environment. King Bee produced the teaser trailer for the cartoon series that gives a good sample of the kinds of stories to expect. Whenever the children do anything to help the environment they would acquire magic energy that would help & empower them. The magic energy could do virtually anything from helping objects to float to helping them fly to parts of the world to see that Are being effected by global warming etc.
Since the animations are dialogue free, there is enormous potential in international educational avenues. The intention is for the animations To be used in schools and education to empower children with recycling in a fun and entertaining way. They are playful and entirely focused on everyday activities rather than on climate change, and are written in the expectation that young children best learn the basics of home and neighbourhood environmental care in the context of a family presentation.
They are also written on the understanding that children are proficient ambassadors of environmental sustainability, positioned as they are to be able to encourage their parents to act responsibly in order to ensure the future is a viable one. The series will work successfully in terms of engaging youngsters through warm and visually exciting animations of children, like themselves, saving energy, conserving water, gardening, tree planting, composting and reusing and recycling. The animations will be both evenly paced and fused with imaginative touches to inspire attention and to encourage primary school classroom discussions.

Rosemary has taught environmental studies at primary and secondary schools, colleges of further education and universities, and is aware that younger children worldwide need a comprehensive and inspiring teaching vehicle to help them connect with what the planet needs most from them. Green TV have indicated that they will distribute the completed DVD to primary schools everywhere, and it is envisaged that teachers will greatly welcome this as a springboard for action both in the schools and at their pupils' homes, the first of its kind and binding us all in one worldwide endeavour. Stay tuned for more information soon..
